Vol. 5 No. 1                                                                           Fall/Winter 2007
_______________________________________________________________

New fibers, new colors, new canvases, new accessories, new classes. This fall
we’re all about what’s new. Neon Rays, Soft Sheen Fyre Works, Sparkle Rays,
Velvet, Bravo, Splendor Silk Ribbon, Fancy Fur, #24 Kreinik Braid, self-finishing
ornaments, self-finishing silk notecard boxes, self-finishing silk guest soap
boxes, Daylight floor lamps, new colors of Silk & Ivory, new colors of pearl cotton
and hundreds of new canvases make In Stitches an exciting place to shop this
fall.

Birthe will be teaching Sharon C’s extraordinary “Intersections” as well as a
much-requested Encore of Sharon’s “Moth over Miami”, both with her own
exquisite stitch guides. Also on the agenda is Birthe’s own unique interpretation
of Julia’s Needleworks’ gorgeous “My Secret Garden”, which is a cottage garden
come-to-life. In addition, classes on Tapestry Tent Designs’ “Beach Buddies” will
also feature Birthe’s own stitch guides

A new series of Saturday classes will begin with Raymond Crawford’s good-
enough-to-eat “Wedding/Birthday Cake” — the ideal non-fattening sweet treat
for all of the dieters among us. The second Saturday series is designed
especially for those of you who have never stitched on blank canvas with a
stitch guide. Using Watercolours, pearl cotton and ribbon you will make a
gorgeous piece that can be used as a one-of-a-kind cell phone case, card case
or cosmetic bag — and this class fee includes the cost of finishing! For those of
you who are ready to learn new stitches and for all of your friends who want to
learn to needlepoint, our Beginner Sampler Class is always available.

If you “don’t need any more pillows/have no wall space for more pictures” come
in and see the constantly-evolving new uses for needlepoint. Gorgeous purses,
eclectic belts, fabulous shoes, key fobs, hat bands, bracelets, pins, box covers,
tote bags, dog/cat collars, cell phone cases, eyeglass cases, wallets, brag
books, golf club covers, bookmarks, prayer book covers, doorstops, stuffed
animals, three-dimensional buildings, coasters, serving trays--if you can
conceive it you can needlepoint it!

In Stitches
Welcomes Customers
of Stitches of Delray
Early this Fall we were saddened to learn that Stitches of
Delray was closing its doors for good. The loss of any local
needlepoint shop is a loss to all needlepolnters.
Everyone at In Stitches wishes Anne and Mark the best of
luck In all of their future endeavors.  You can rest assured
that we are not going anywhere; In fact, we have
purchased all of Stitches’ remaining Inventory.

We welcome all of the new customers who have found us
as a result of referrals from Stitches of Defray. We look
forward to getting to know you and serving your
needlepoint needs!
Pay a visit to the American Needlepoint Guild’s
website, www.ang.com.

They have a terrific “Stitch of the Month” feature.
Twelve months of the favorite stitches of such
noted designers and stitch-inventors as David
McCaskiIl, Oma Willis and Sharon G.

You can put together your own stitch reference
books containing stitches that you won’t find
anywhere else.
